Triumph Rehabilitation Hospital of NE Houston – Humble, TX
This project was a 48,000-sq ft rehabilitation hospital. MIINC, a leading healthcare contractor Texas-wide, was the Mechanical and Plumbing Engineer and Sub-Contractor on this facility. This project included (46) patient rooms, (3) isolation rooms, a high observation area, a physical therapy gym and pool, kitchen/dining areas, emergency treatment room and pharmacy. Rooftop DX equipment was utilized for the basis of design. New medical gas systems were provided.
Parkland Data Control Room – Dallas, TX
This project is part of the ever growing Parkland Health and Hospital System of Dallas which is a political subdivision of the State of Texas. MIINC was awarded the contract to installed Liebert Units with all associated pipe, insulation and duct in eight (8) new Data Control Rooms at Parkland Hospital. Included in the contract were three floors of chilled water supply, chilled water return, and condensate drain risers.
Parkland Medical Air System – Dallas, TX
This project is part of the ever growing Parkland Health and Hospital System of Dallas which is a political subdivision of the State of Texas. MIINC was awarded the contract to replace the existing Medical Air System in the Central Plant with a Medical Scroll Air System. This new system is oilles scroll 75 HP with multi-compressors, dual air dryers, dual filtration system, CO and dew point monitors, air receiver and all associated pipe, valves, and fittings. Also included in our contract were a Combination Area / Master Alarm for Oxygen, Air, and Vacuum and a Master Multi-Signal Alarm for the new Medical Air System.
Children’s Medical Center Ambulatory Care Pavilion – Plano, TX
Children’s Medical Center is a private, not-for-profit organization with locations throughout the United States. It is one of the largest pediatric healthcare providers in the nation. MIINC was the Mechanical Sub-Contractor on this 4-Story specialized treatment center. Chilled water, heating water, domestic water, oxygen, CO2, and Nitrogen were supplied from the new central plant. Two Custom VAV Rooftop Air Handlers were also installed with multiple split system DX systems.
UTSW Laboratory Research and Support Facility – Dallas, TX
This project is part UT Southwestern Medical Center – Dallas. MIINC provided the plumbing and HVAC services for this facility. The Facility consists of 4 floors plus an interstitial mezzanine covering 7600 Sq Ft. The building is designed to house and support research of animals (Primarily rats and mice) On the 1st floor is the central sterile facility for cleaning and sterilizing equipment, 2nd floor contains sterilized animal holding and laboratory procedure rooms, 3rd floor (interstitial mezzanine) containing HVAC equipment serving the second floor labs. 4th floor consist of the shell floor for future Level III Bio Safety Lab, and the 5th floor contains support laboratories for animal research.
ETMC – Tyler CUP & Parking – Tyler, TX
ETMC Parking Garage and Central Plant is a new ground up structure that will provide parking for the newly constructed North Tower project. On the North end of the parking structure a new Central Plant for the entire ETMC facility is located. Two existing chillers where added to the new plant, with all utilities taken underground and across the street, including chilled water, steam and condensate and fuel oil. This project had and extremely tight schedule for portions that include chilled water in that the chilled water had to be operational in the new plant before the migration of the existing chiller could take place.
Mansfield Methodist Medical Center ED/ICU Addition
Mansfield Methodist is part of the Dallas-based Methodist Health Systems. MIINC was the Mechanical Sub-Contractor on this 20,000-sq ft Expansion of the Emergency Department and the Intensive Care Unit including (21) new exam rooms, (7) ICU patient rooms and expansion of the triage. Included in the addition was (2) 40-Ton air handling units
Methodist Charlton Medical Center Bed Tower Addition
Charlton Methodist is part of the Dallas-based Methodist Health Systems. MIINC was the Mechanical Sub-Contractor on this 8-Story 72-bed Bed tower addition that included one floor of common area and central sterile area, one floor of OR’s and pre / post-op areas, (2) Floors of patient rooms, and (4) floors of shell space. Chilled water domestic water, oxygen, CO2, and Nitrogen were supplied from the exiting central plant. A new heating water system was installed including (2) 11,000 MBH boilers and fuel oil supply systems. Five new air handling units were added (approximately 700 tons total) including one fan wall surgical unit. New medical air, medical vacuum, instrument air and reverse osmosis systems were added.
