Project Description

Project was a $3,000,000 project which involved construction of a new state of the art performance/music instructional facility which included a 600 seat performance hall, 75 seat recital hall, rehearsal rooms, electronic music labs, and classrooms.  The mechanical scope of work included air cooled chillers, underground tie- in to the campus chilled water loop, hot water boilers, chilled water air handling units, air terminal units with reheat coils and fan coil units.  Plumbing scope included storm water system and public and semi-private restroom facilities.  Primary challenges of this project were the requirements needed to install piping and duct safely above the performance hall floor (65’ above floor) as well extraordinary acoustic considerations required throughout the entire mechanical system.
