MIINC Mechanical undertook four projects for Children’s Medical Center, three in Dallas and one in Plano. The renovations spanned a year and amounted to $5 million. These projects demanded a high level of expertise to overcome a series of roadblocks.
The Dallas project involved a significant renovation. MIINC had to complete its work in 17 phases to avoid extended shutdowns of the medical center. The project involved unconventional plans for a mechanical room on the rooftop to address noise complaints from a nearby church. To address this, MIINC added acoustic/sound attenuation measures. Unfortunately, a tornado struck the site towards the end of the project. The damage caused required the disassembly and reassembly of the chillers for repairs.
Despite these obstacles, MIINC completed all plumbing and HVAC work as promised. The project’s outcome showcased MIINC’s expertise in overcoming adversity and delivering exceptional results. This commitment to efficiency and quality earned the company a positive reputation as a steadfast partner for the Children’s Medical Center.
