Medical City Plano Chiller Replacement

This was the first of several projects with Henderson Building Solutions. It was a $600,000 retrofit that included demolishing an existing 700 ton chiller that could no longer keep up, with a new 1000 ton water-cooled magnetic chiller. Along with the chiller, 2 pumps were replaced to feed higher volumes of chilled and condensed water to the chiller. MIINC was the prime contractor on the job with 10 subcontractors. The challenge with this project was rolling in 17ft barrels around the corners of corridors in the Hospital without interrupting operations.

Medical City Plano OR AHU Replacement

Henderson Building Solutions came to us with a $1.9 million retrofit that included demolishing one rooftop AHU and another in a cramped penthouse. We would in return install two rooftop AHUs along with a new air-cooled glycol chiller, 2 pumps and several glycol accessories in the penthouse. MIINC was the prime contractor on the job with 13 subcontractors. This particular project had several challenges that MIINC had to coordinate weeks in advance with all parties involved. Several weekend crane picks were utilized and shutdowns were necessary in order to have the operating rooms functional and compliant by Sunday evenings.

Medical City Plano AHU-4

MIINC teamed up a 3^rd time at Medical City Plano with Henderson Building Solutions for a one weekend replacement of a rooftop AHU. MIINC was the prime contractor on the job with 7 subcontractors. The shutdown began on a Friday, with weather delays causing a crane pick to be moved to Saturday morning. The gym below was operational by Sunday evening.
