Charlton Methodist is part of the Dallas-based Methodist Health Systems. MIINC was the Mechanical Sub-Contractor on this 8-Story 72-bed Bed tower addition that included one floor of common area and central sterile area, one floor of OR’s and pre / post-op areas, (2) Floors of patient rooms, and (4) floors of shell space. Chilled water domestic water, oxygen, CO2, and Nitrogen were supplied from the exiting central plant. A new heating water system was installed including (2) 11,000 MBH boilers and fuel oil supply systems. Five new air handling units were added (approximately 700 tons total) including one fan wall surgical unit. New medical air, medical vacuum, instrument air and reverse osmosis systems were added
